The Master’s Program in Literature at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) offers two main academic pathways: By Course and By Research. Each pathway provides a distinct approach to achieving the expected competencies, aiming to deliver an in-depth academic experience in literary and cultural studies.1. By Course Pathway
In the By Course pathway, students follow a structured series of courses based on the established curriculum. This pathway emphasizes mastery of literary theories and concepts through lectures and assigned coursework. Course-Based Curriculum Structure:- Compulsory Courses: Students take core courses required for all participants, covering various literary disciplines, literary theory, and cultural and social approaches.
- Elective Courses: Students may choose electives that fit their academic interests and areas of focus.
- Thesis Preparation: After completing all coursework, students write a thesis as a graduation requirement. The thesis integrates the theoretical and research skills acquired throughout the program.
