Website Development Assistance Activities to Improve Bilingual Web and Webometrics were organized by Diponegoro University on Friday, April 14 2023. The assistance activities were held at the Aruss Hotel, Candisari Semarang. The purpose of holding this mentoring activity is so that the website at Diponegoro University can meet bilingual standards which later is expected to increase Webometrics rankings. This activity was attended by all Heads of Study Programs and website managers in each unit at Diponegoro University.
The activity began with an opening by Prof. Budi Setiyono, S.Sos., M.Pol.Admin., Ph.D as Deputy Chancellor for Communication and Business. The event continued with presentation of material and training. There were several training sessions with different sources in the Website Development Assistance activities organized by Undip. The Undip Webometrics Ranking session was delivered by Prof. Denny Nugroho Sugianto, S.T., M.Sc., Google Scholar and Journal Management session by Mr. Eko Didik Widianto, S.T., M.T., Writing Techniques on Website session by Mr. Alkomari, S.Sos., M. I. Kom. And the Undip Standard Website Assistance session by Mr. Joko Saksono, S.Kom. as Deputy Director of Information Technology, Communication and Reporting.
By holding this activity, it is hoped that the participants will be able to write news on a website that conforms to Undip standards so that they can improve rankings on Webometrics.
